Thanks to their experience and involvement in numerous R&D projects, they can correlate simulations with measurements, in addition to possessing various environmental testing capabilities.

They have also developed their own acquisition and monitoring systems to meet complex data acquisition and monitoring needs.

V2i has a diverse client portfolio including industry leaders in aerospace, defense, transportation, and manufacturing.

As part of expanding their footprint in these markets, they are in search of a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales and Marketing. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving sales, nurturing client relationships, and spearheading the commercial structuring of V2i. There is a significant opportunity for the chosen candidate to shape and build the entire commercial landscape for V2i from the ground up.

Your role 

As the Director of Sales and Marketing, your main objective is to drive the company's revenue growth by acquiring additional clients in key markets such as aerospace, space, defense, transportation, and industrial manufacturing. Being a part of the managing team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's future, initially executing activities independently and later building and managing a team as the company grows. You will be based in Liège, with travel accounting for 20% across Europe.

Commercial Leadership:

•           Collaborate with the leadership team to design and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue objectives.

•           Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with the leadership team.

•           Define and implement means (processes, methods, tools, and organization) to achieve set goals, explore new markets, advise teams, and close deals.

•           Contribute to product development based on customer needs.

•           Coach/mentor/orchestrate commercial efforts, fostering collaboration with technical profiles within the company.

Product Knowledge:

•           Acquire sufficient technical knowledge of the company's products and services.

•           Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to maintain a competitive edge.

•           Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients regarding the application of non-destructive testing solutions and vibration analysis, with support from internal technical references.

Customer Relationship Management:

•           Actively prospect new clients through inbound and outbound marketing strategies (visits, exhibitions, training, webinars, etc.).

•           Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in potential client organizations.

•           Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities to expand business (cross-selling + up-selling).

•           Represent the company at events, conferences, or exhibitions.


Your profile 

•           Over 10 years of experience in selling high-tech products and services, with an existing network in at least one of the following domains:

•           Manufacturing industry

•           Aerospace

•           Space

•           Transportation

•           Civil engineering

Preferably in non-destructive testing or related fields.

•           Master's degree in engineering, business, or a related field demonstrating the ability to work with technical engineering profiles.

•           Quick learner with excellent oral and written English, good knowledge of French. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

•           Ability to translate technical data into business language and collaborate with technical profiles, understanding their profession and needs.

•           Entrepreneurial/PME experience is a plus.

•           Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

•           Structured, organized, analytical, and synthetic.

•           Initiative taker with the ability to generate new ideas within a defined framework.

•           Flexible, capable of adapting to organizational needs and going beyond the strict content of the job description.

•           Results-oriented, autonomous, ambitious, capable of implementing new processes in an existing structure.

•           Collaborative team player.
